Job Summary
AECOM's North Queensland Team has an exciting opportunity for a professional and pro-active Bid Coordinator to utilise their strong Marketing and Administration Coordination experience in our Townsville office. Working closely with the Marketing and Communications team based in Brisbane, you will be the local point of contact for Northern and Central Queensland, as well as the Northern Territory, liaising with key individuals and groups in order to coordinate and manage local marketing activities. You will provide highly valued support with a range of bidding coordination activities including assistance with business critical bids, development of project profiles and pen pics, editorial review of bid documentation as well as facilitating bid strategy workshops.

In addition to your responsibilities in Bidding Coordination, you will be responsible for a range of marketing projects across the region. As a key Brand Ambassador for the NQ/NT business, you will coordinate all marketing activities including internal and external corporate and sponsorship events, industry briefings, boardroom and industry lunches, press releases and award entries for NQ/NT projects. You will champion the AECOM brand across the region ensuring all activities are aligned with the broader ANZ marketing and branding objectives.

This role will also require you to utilise your highly developed administration support skills. You will work closely with the Director for NQ/NT as well as other leaders in the region. You will provide diary and travel management assistance, process expense claims and coordinate management and resource meetings in order to contribute to the smooth running of the region.

Minimum Requirements
You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role requiring focus on both marketing and administrative support. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement programs as well as developing and coordinating effective internal and external communications will be essential. Previous experience in a consulting environment, assisting with bid coordination will be highly regarded. You will have strong creative writing skills with strong attention to detail. Your ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities, whilst maintaining a professional approach will be the keys to your success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications
• Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, Journalism (or equivalent) - Essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
