Quantity Surveyor job role with Residential and Commercial Building Contractor |
Quantity Surveyor job opportunity with an established and well run Hampshire based residential / commercial contractor. As a Quantity Surveyor within the business you will be managing and overseeing the commercial functions on a range of construction schemes predominately refurbishments.
Your New Company:
As an established medium sized building contractor this firm specialise in a range of commercial projects, including large scale refurbishments on retail chains, hotel's and restaurants as well as residential refurbishment projects on high -spec and listed buildings. An example of current residential project is the conversion of large 6 bedroom house into residential 12 flats. This company currently has an annual turnover of circa £6million with projects range from £50,000 - £3million covering all areas of the UK, mainly London and the South.
Your New Job Role:
Because of the businesses continued success they have made the decision to recruit a permanent Quantity Surveyor. As a Q.S you will be based in the Hampshire office, visiting the various projects to complete the relevant commercial responsibilities from inception to completion. Due to the company structure all travel expenses will be paid when managing the range of commercial and residential projects. You will be reporting directly into the company Director.
What you'll need to succeed:
You will need to be an tenured Q.S with around 5 years' experience within Construction, managing projects of a similar value within Commercial and Residential sectors from inception to completion. A HNC / HND and BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar degree will also be required. The business have continually expanded their clientele based on the quality of work they produce; you will be representing the business in your work and managing your own diary as part of this so you must be professional with a pro-active work ethic.
What You'll get in return:
For the Quantity Surveying role this business are willing offer a competitive salary between £45,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience. You will also receive a business mileage, pension , holiday and paid expenses as part of the role.
