Job Title: Project Administrator (Cyber Business)

About the role:

The Project Administrator's main role will be to ensure the efficient and effective running of our new Manchester office and provide support for key business / programme activities. This will be a busy office with a growing team. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organised, determined and will thrive in an expanding office environment. They will have a willingness to work with the team in the office to get the job done to a high standard.

Main Duties:
  • Assist with paperwork for purchasing (raising purchase orders, liaising with supply chain and finance)
  • Working with finance and supply chain to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Ad hoc tasks for members of staff such as requesting quotes, marketing material from suppliers, researching companies, data entry
  • Liaising with contractors for office maintenance, repairs etc.
    Organisation of calendar of regular meetings and events for programme team based in Manchester office, including some diary management
  • Note taking and action management of some meetings
  • Support for meetings and events taking place, e.g. organising visitor access, welcoming visitors, preparing meeting rooms, ordering catering, preparing briefing slide packs.
  • Support for coordination of off-site events e.g. careers fairs, trade shows etc.
    Ensure office is kept to a high standard in terms of branding, organisation, etc.
  • Ensuring all incoming and outgoing post is dealt with in a timely manner
  • Other miscellaneous administrative work as required
  • Reviewing and maintaining health and safety and first aid requirements.
  • Carrying out basic building security tasks
  • Composes reports, charts, and presentations to include inter-office correspondence and emails; Edits and processes final documents for appropriate grammar and syntax.

What we are looking for:

Essential skills & experience:

  • Requirement for an ISOH certificate or similar
  • Previous experience of all aspects of Facilities Management of a small facility
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Able to use own initiative and work without supervision
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Ability to pick up new processes quickly and effectively
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence others in the team
  • Ability to anticipate and forward plan
    Ability to multitask and be re-tasked at short notice
    Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills


  • A-Levels / College Diploma.
