Retail Manager

Fantastic Permanent Opportunity available with a leading Telecoms/ICT company based in Reading. My client is currently looking for an experienced Retail Manager with at least 3-6 years retail sales, Marketing or field execution experience and significant previous experience in a mobile telecoms role with experience and contacts across major UK networks and manufacturers.

Role Overview:

* Responsible for achieving yearly and monthly sell out target within set channels and implementation of a retail and field marketing sales strategy for the account, in line with sales plans and objectives
* Implement monthly and quarterly promotion plans for devices based on sales objectives
* Influence the Field Marketing Strategy and Field Training Teams
* Proactively identify opportunities to reinforce brand through retail and field activities to key audiences and take these forward through planned and new retail initiatives
* To be the Retail marketing point of contact for customer and partner relationships, maintaining a calendar of activities/promotions and ensuring that this dovetails appropriately with the overall GTM plans (aligning with the marketing GTM lead, Account Directors and Marketing Director)
* Lead and manage the end to end production and implementation of promotional activities
* Maximise the look and feel of all retail POS and activity across all parts of the customer journey to create a uniform experience through the line
* Support the maintenance of the App by regularly providing updates of channel marketing activities
* Manage marketing agencies/suppliers as required including pitch process, contract negotiation and ongoing agency management
* Maintain relationships with multi-channel accounts to ensure effective and consistent POS presence in stores
* Use store level knowledge to affect sell out uplift of all devices.
* Forward thinking incentive propositions for stores and call centre staff

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

* At least 3-6 years retail sales, Marketing or field execution experience
* Significant previous experience in a mobile telecoms role with experience and contacts across the major UK networks and manufacturers
* Experience of call centre or retail are preferred
* Experience of working with or within a mobile manufacturer or network
