Working with a strong project management team and large in-house stocks of AV and staging
equipment, which is continuously updated and maintained to the highest standard, the latest planning, creative and design software is available to the project team to ensure that every aspect is thoroughly covered in the lead up to each event.
We are now seeking a Senior Technical Project manager to work from their West London
base serving clients throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. This additional appointment is necessary due to an increased workload and service that is expected from a growing
number of clients.
Good self-discipline & organisation,
Excellent management and communication skills to work with clients, suppliers & technical staff.
You will have managed a wide range of corporate and institutional events and have both the technical and creative skills to plan, prepare and execute such events
Financially savvy with experience of creating and managing budgets for cost effective and profitable events.
Event opportunities arise from a number of sources and the project manager would be expected to be involved at an early stage to turn these opportunities into firm business and then use their expertise and experience to create, specify, manage and take the event to a successful conclusion.
More specifically these include:
Taking a brief from end user client, third party agency, or in-house account manager.
Creating budgets, specifications, ideas, drawings & illustrations suitable to form the basis of the quotation/proposal.
Preparing detailed specifications, schedules, work sheets, critical paths and other documents necessary to progress
the project. (Plans, drawings, schematics, etc. Vectorworks, Sketchup & HireTrack packages).
Attending venue meetings and creating all the necessary H&S and other documents required.
Assessing and booking suitable crew (technical, creative & logistical) from an established database.
Assessing and booking specialist sub-contract companies.
Planning and implementing the logistics required with the operations department.
Coordinating the technical & creative resources with others in the team.
Organising pre-event rehearsals and presentations.
Checking and approving all final plans and activities for the project prior to going to site.
Managing the rig and rehearsals on site and attending to all client requirements.
Briefing show crew with documentation, meetings and site instructions.
Post event documentation and follow up as required
