Following a new contract award we are recruiting for a Permit & Compliance Manager for a portfolio in West London. Successful candidates will have a technical qualification in either mechanical or electrical engineering and a proven track record in building services maintenance. Healthcare experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
•Management of site teams dealing with contractor safe systems of work
•Ensuring site cover for team during core and non-core hours so that ATW and PTW can be issued to contractors
•Attending client meetings and writing reports associated with safe systems of work
•Overseeing and monitoring the implementation and running of CBRE compliance and permitting systems and processes
•Management, review and approval of Inductions, Method Statements, Risk Assessments Permit to Works Contractor Work Authorisations, Contractor auditing
•Ensuring a system is in place and managed to actively monitor risks relating to the estate including their mitigation and contingency management plans and logging on the risk register
•Preparing and maintaining permit to work submittal logs and tracking register and preparing regular reports and presentations to provide an update on status and progress of the permitting work
•Managing and organising a filing system for the PTW documents.
•Organising the PTW equipment in the site office (locks, tags, forms, key-system, etc.)
•Communication with all stakeholders requesting work and those affected by work
•Carrying out Safety audits and Job cycle checks
•Attending and advising in Estate Project meetings and coordination groups

Skills / Experience:
•Technical M&E qualification
•Proven track record of in managing and administering teams and individuals
•Ability to manage and confident to communicate to stakeholders at all levels
•Proven track record in managing and administering safe systems of work including permitting and contractor auditing
Knowledge and qualifications around the following health technical memorandums an advantage • HTM02 Medical Gas Pressure Systems (MGPS) • HTM03 Heating & Ventilation (HVAC) • HTM04 Water Hygiene • HTM06 Electrical Low Voltage • HTM06 Electrical High Voltage • Steam & Pressure Systems (PSSR)
