An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, a world leader in the development of equipment for the scientific and medical industries, to join their team as Senior Refrigeration Designer, both designing completely new and bespoke products, as well as developing and improving existing product ranges.|
Our client specialises in a range of equipment, but this role will focus exclusively on Cryogenic / Ultra Low Temperature refrigeration solutions, with operating temperatures of -86°C.
You will join a highly skilled, lean team, that will see you integrating with engineers across the disciplines to ensure an excellent final product. As such, we are looking for a highly skilled person who can fulfil their design roles, but also offer technical support to both clients, and colleagues as the lead specialist in this sector.
As well as designing using CAD software, there will also be other skills utilised, such as prototyping and advising along the way, and testing all the equipment prior to final sign offs.
The successful applicant will have proven experience as a refrigeration designer, although this does not need to be specifically with Ultra Low Temperatures, as training can be provided to fill in the knowledge gaps here.
Refrigeration design experience
Understanding the thermodynamics principles of refrigeration
Ability to generate 3D CAD models
Degree level qualification, or suitable experience in the industry
