Service Engineer (Electrical)|
To £35,000 plus van
Our client currently require an electrical bias Field Service Engineer / Mobile Maintenance Engineer to conduct maintenance activities of advanced 24/7 process plants providing renewable power to their local surrounding areas.
They are one of the UK's leading proponents of renewable electrical power generation in their sector.
As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for all activities related to the maintenance of the steam plant & boilers & utility supplies, ensuring that the maintenance activities are carried out within defined budgets & in compliance with all relevant standards and safety and legal requirements.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in working on process plant or large engines / plant / utilities perhaps being from a marine engineer or ex-army or Royal Navy background. IT literacy is important & a relevant electrical engineering qualification, preferably at HNC level or apprenticeship would be very advantageous. Food industry back ground, or steel, chemical, petro chemical or oil & gas knowledge & experience would be very advantageous.
The sites are near Lincoln, Newark on Trent & Sleaford. You ideally should also hold a full, clean driving licence & be able to respond to out of hours emergencies with support from management.
