Do you have Facilities Maintenance experience?|
Do you hold a mechanical qualification (gas safe / refrigeration etc) and electrical qualification (16th or 17th edition)?
Do you have experience with Risk Assessment, COSSH, Permits to Work, SSWs?
Do you have team management experience (around 10 people)?
Have you worked with external maintenance contractors?
Have you used maintenance / asset management software?
If the answer is YES then you are pretty much exactly what I am looking for and I would like to offer you a job as a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor with a world famous manufacturer. If you are close, I would still be interested in talking with you.
The role is offered on a permanent basis with a salary up to £39000 for the successful candidate.
You will be managing a small team of maintenance engineers, plumbers, HVAC guys etc and will be pretty much be running the facilities maintenance on site, allowing the Maintenance Manager to work on larger projects. For this reason it is key that you are self-sufficient, and a problem solver that can insure the smooth and effective running of the team. Personality is a big part of this role, and due to the safety critical nature of the products being manufactured on site, it is key that the successful candidate is able to assert his authority on the role.
The successful candidate will have proven team leading experience, be systematic and logical, and always be approachable to his team. You will be there to facilitate them doing the best job possible.
