Electrical Engineer - Onshore Wind Farms|
Up to £55,000 plus benefits
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer, to support and advise on technical & commercial electrical issues across multiple departments including Operation, Maintenance, Project Development, Safety, etc. Our client is a leading organisation within the Renewable Energy sector, with the opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join their team based in the Swindon area.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be required to:
* Support & advise all business departments on technical & commercial electrical issues
* Provide, manage & conduct specialist electrical studies
* Manage & provide technical expertise during site works
* Construction & commissioning tasks
* Design & development of both grid connections and project electrical infrastructure, mitigating compliance risk
* Network operator stakeholder management
* Produce technical specifications for wind turbine procurement, grid connections & balance of plant contracts
* Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you should hold a relevant Engineering degree in an electrical discipline (or equivalent experience). In depth knowledge and experience of electrical apparatus, equipment & technology is essential, as is knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation, standards, etc. You should have experience working within the Wind Farm industry.

The package on offer for this role includes an attractive basic salary up to £55,000 (depending on experience), plus great company benefits. Some travel is required with this position therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
