Compliance Engineer required for global manufacturing client based in Staffordshire.|
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced specialist to join the engineering team within the world's number 1 manufacturer of Backhoe Loaders.
Reporting to the Test and Development Manager, the successful candidate will join a highly focused, passionate team, working on exciting new programmes to both maintain and further extend our clients market penetration.
Be educated to HND/Degree level in an associated engineering discipline (or equivalent career experience).
Experienced in system safety analysis methods, such as SISTEMA, FMEDA, FTA, etc.
Knowledge and application of safety standards such as EN ISO 13849, 61508, 26262.
Good working knowledge of machine hydraulic and electrical systems.
Well-developed analytical skills - rigorous but pragmatic.
Possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to communicate and influence change.
Hazard analysis, risk assessment and failure mode and effects analysis.
Analysis of machine safety function requirements and performance levels.
Compilation of technical construction files and documentation.
Guidance on current and future legislative requirements and effects.
Liaison with internal and external departments as required.
