* Cloud We are processing 10s of thousands requests per minute and you will get the opportunity to work in a fast paced and scaling environment, which requires innovative solutions to meet the requirements of our customers. The successful candidate will join our core software team of excellent engineers and will work primarily within our development team focusing on the UI and UX of our application components. We are passionate about our user experience and you will have the opportunity to drive and deliver a cool and sharp customer focused user experience.
Key accountabilities are:
*Work as part of the development team to develop UX requirements and solutions and making process improvements.
*Ownership of solutions and freedom to implement them with the support of the wider development team.
*Liaise with the customer focus team.
* Development of web tier solutions, including mobile solutions * Work with our data analytics platform to provide greater customer understanding * Writing automated tests
*Investigate, solve and support customer queries
*Creating kick ass functionality, which our customer will love The successful candidate will be required to work across the full stack and strong SQL to UI skills will be beneficial. You will work closely with other members of our team and mentorship is available. Over the next year there will be a major push to mobile architectures, data analytics and more micro services, which will give you an opportunity to see new practices and the best technologies. We are very keen to use the correct technologies and languages to solve the solution at hand. For our web tier we are currently utilising
*Handlebars. Highcharts and other exciting JS Frameworks We have adopted the following technologies our stack
*Scala (Testing purposes for now)
*Caching and CDN technologies.
