Location: Bromsgrove or Haddenham
Experience required: Experience of running a factory production line that manufactures a high volume or high value product and is the principle activity of the business. A good understanding of the critical business issues experienced by such companies and the ability to demonstrate how your solution can help. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills. The ability to function independently and in a team environment. An analytical mind that can calculate return on investment propositions. You must be comfortable taking your proposition to 'C' Level players during the sales cycle. You must be prepared to perform the role of 'Customer Success Manager' after the sale has taken place. An overriding desire to 'get the job done'.
To work with the Business Development Director to set-up the UK presence of Visual Factories.
Responsibility in the nominated territory for the sales, implementation, support and training of the following product:
o Visual Factories
Active interest in the IoT (Internet of Things), Cloud computing and staff motivation techniques.
To work with the Business Development Director to manage the complete sales cycle of Visual Factories and to perform it alone after training and experience.
Provision of the following when called upon:
o Sales Forecasts, Sales presentations, Software demonstrations, ROI calculations
The ability to organise and perform pilot programmes in sales prospects.
The ability and desire to perform an ongoing customer success management role until such time as the company revenues grow to support others doing that activity.
Working to the pre agreed target dates with customers with commitment, consistency and control and collecting sign-off sheets for work performed.
Providing technical product support to existing customer accounts via phone and web.
Representing the company with our business partners and agencies as required.
Managing diaries effectively, scheduling work for customers and communicating those schedules.
The consistent operational execution of the company strategy, culture and values in customer service as set by the Technical Director.
Making available to the Business Development Director clear, reliable KPI's and reporting information detailing your performance (if requested).
Providing accurate company records by keeping the company CRM system up to date with the required information.
Identifying risks in customers and reporting back to the Business Development Director with suggested mitigating strategies.
Ensuring the implementation of improved processes and procedures as set out by Business Development Director.
Being conscious of company costs and actively keeping them to a minimum.
Understanding the need for profitable customer contracts.
Acting at all times in honesty and good faith on behalf of the company, carrying out tasks with care, diligence and skill.
Participation in company events and trade shows.
A willingness to work as part of a team or alone when required.
An appreciation that the job will involve you travelling throughout the UK and sometimes abroad (for product training purposes), so you should expect (a few) nights away from home.
To plan and develop yourself as an increasingly effective Sales Executive.
To maintain a good sector and general overall market knowledge for both existing and emerging technologies.
Proactive in identifying issues early and taking appropriate action.
Maintaining a constructive, productive approach in all areas.
