Client - Design Compliance Manager
My client, based in Essex, is a very well established award winning Construction company with a turnover in excess of £150 million and over 500 staff. Their core areas of business are new build residential, refurbishment and planned & reactive maintenance within the Social Housing, Commercial, Education and Public sectors. They are currently recruiting for a number of Design Compliance Managers to be based on New Build Residential sites based in London. Values ranging from £9m - £30m.
The Role - Design Compliance Manager
Reporting directly to the Production Director the purpose of the role is to manage the detailed design information for new build residential projects based in London. The successful candidate would be required to manage the design process for a variety of small to medium mixed-tenure Residential developments across London and the Home Counties. They would be the primary contact for the Design team and liaise with Local Authorities, Planning Departments, Production teams and Building Control. Experience of both raft and piled foundations is required, as is experience of steel and concrete frame superstructures and soft and hard landscaping. It would also be advantageous if the candidate had previous experience of working with rail companies.
The Candidate - Design Compliance Manager
The ideal applicant must be highly motivated and have proven track record of working within design compliance in a new build residential environment. They will also have exceptional communication skills, excellent commercial awareness, with proven ability to cope well under pressure, managing a high volume of work.
The salary is up to £65k dependant on experience with a competitive package.
