Document Controller job based in West Kent, up to £22,000 per annum, working for an Engineering Consultancy |
Your new company
An award-winning Engineering Consulting firm with offices across the UK are looking to recruit a Document Controller to help support the Design and CAD team. This position has arisen due to the large volume of work the business has secured recently. You will be working on projects of all sectors of the construction industry including; Hotels, Industrial, Commercial (inc fit-out), Education, Healthcare, across the South East on project values up to and occasionally exceeding £30 million.
Your new role
You will be working in the office alongside the rest of the team, electronically filing paperwork, using Microsoft Office packages and handling hard copies. You will be responsible for ensuring all documentation is uploaded correctly and in a timely manner. You will also assist in general administration duties where required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be proficient on Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel. Previous experience working as a document controller or with in the engineering sector is desirable. Your previous experience using file transfer platforms will be a perfect fit for this role. You will need to be confident and work well under pressure.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of up to £22,000 per annum depending on experience. Your new role has onsite parking. You will enjoy working in a welcoming and friendly office with in a reputable Engineering Consultancy.
