Due to a number of recent contract wins and the continued growth of the business, my client are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to join their rapidly expanding team to manage a number of hard and soft landscape contracts throughout the Essex and East London area.
Our Client has been designing, building and maintaining gardens for many years and in this time have gained a desirable reputation for their renowned garden designs, they pride themselves on their high customer service levels with a strong work ethic. To give you a little more insight they work for prestigious housing developers on a sole supplier basis and have recently won a very large contract to provide landscaping and maintenance services on a large number of sites.
You will be reporting to the Area Manager who will be overseeing you and your team's day to day progress ensuring you meet your targets and deadlines so if you can manage multiple projects at one time then you are the person for us.
You must demonstrate proficiency in a broad range of disciplines relating to Hard and Soft Landscaping. Ensure effective contract delivery is obtained as well as profitability and growth of existing and new business within the division. Additionally, assist with annual business plans and financial reporting, regularly review performance figures and annual appraisals, and regularly meet with Clients in support of sustaining the value and quality of existing contractual business. Furthermore develop a clear plan for expanding and enhancing the value of the company's existing contracts.
Because you will have INCREDIBLE management skills you will also be responsible for the day to day management of multiple teams, resource management, onsite health and safety and programming and scheduling.
You will be given the opportunity to develop your own personal and professional skills for the benefit of yourself and the business; with this you must be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to solve any issues that may occur and manage your own work schedule and that of your various teams.
Because you will be the go to person I'm looking for a confident and hardworking individual that has the ability to convey clear lines of communication between client, designer, management, staff and any sub-contractors. You will be able to manage the work in progress effectively, take control of all the health, safety, security, environmental and technical compliance issues, as well as being responsible for managing sub-contractors and assessing their compliance to plans. It is vital that you hold a full driving license as you will be provided with a Company vehicle to travel from site to site.
