A Main Contractor with Order Books full for the next 6 years and beyond have a requirement for a number of Procurement Quantity Surveyors due to a huge increase in projects across the UK. This really is an exciting time to be joining this company with Hotel, Leisure, Student Accommodation and more they are expected to be in the top 10 contractors this year and next.
With in excess of £400m of projects beginning across the UK in the coming months they are genuinely changing the land scape and sky line of a number of major university City's across the UK. They are a trusted partner of many NHS, University and Hotel companies and as a result their fast paced projects require people with experience on such projects, experience of high rise developments would be an advantage but of more importance is that you come from a main contracting background.
With high class offices in the North West you will be involved with some of the most exciting projects to hit many cities in England and Wales.

You will Be responsible for:
Measuring quantities from drawings.
Issuing detailed tender enquiries.
Analysing and negotiate most competitive tenders based on cost, programme, performance and quality.
Submitting detailed analysis to Procurement Department Manager for approval
Monitoring and review procurement including placing subcontract orders and ensure they arrive on time and within budget
Attending sub-contract and design team meetings
Working to deadlines set by the Procurement Department Manager and others within the team
Ensuring continuous communication with other team members to review contract progress and address immediately associated issues
Attending site weekly (or as required) to review issues including providing solutions and advice to ensure successful project completion.
Identifying and review key performance indicators with Procurement Department Manager
Ensuring filing of site project correspondence is maintained
