Successful applicant will manage all aspects of the maintenance of instrument and electrical equipment onsite.


1 To deliver site instrument and electrical maintenance and instrument calibration, on time and on budget. Maintain appropriate asset availability for business delivery, meeting the correct quality compliance standards.

1 Implement and demonstrate the correct behaviours and standards, ensuring their application across the department. Train, coach and develop existing staff to maximise performance.

1 Identify, select and manage third party agents to deliver Engineering services to site in support of maintenance execution. Manage and deliver systems which assess the quality of third party installation works prior to handover.

1 Support and direct plant engineers to implement new maintenance strategies.

1 Act as a subject matter expert on maintenance strategy and performance for the purpose of customer and regulatory inspections.

1 Identify and report Key Performance Indicators for maintenance effectiveness on the facility, including calibration schedule adherence.

1 The post holder must have an in depth understanding and experience of the maintenance of instrument and electrical equipment within a process, automotive or FMCG industry. Specific knowledge of SAP systems and their application to maintenance will be advantageous.

1 The post holder will typically be a Chartered Engineer, or have equivalent experience.

1 The post holder will be able to demonstrate a strong management track record with technician grade staff.

1 Given the high degree of interaction with other disciplines within the organisation the individual must have excellent interpersonal skills which will enable him/her to communicate effectively.

1 The post holder will possess a strong EHS and quality compliance ethos and will lead by example
