2nd Line Support Engineer. Edinburgh|
IT managed service provider requires 2nd line support engineer to join an existing team supporting incidents referred from the service desk using approved tools and in compliance with the incident process. You will have excellent communication skills, this role will include telephone contact with end users. Your role will be to investigate and diagnose issues, resolving or transferring incidents to appropriate support groups. Working within SLAs and identifying incident trends.
The successful engineer will have experience working in a 2nd line support role, Previous experience in end user support and customer service, good Microsoft office 2010 knowledge, Good Windows 7 knowledge, Microsoft VBA skills, exposure to Citrix technologies, exposure to Windows 2008, understanding of ITIL processes.
