Robot Project Manager urgently required to manage multi-disciplined project teams for the successful and safe execution of robotic automation systems projects to budget and programme. You will be working for an industry leading supplier of industrial robots, modular manufacturing systems and service, who are known for providing a strong solutions focus to aid manufacturers improve productivity, product quality and worker safety.|
Working on UK based projects primarily within the automotive sector, you will manage cross functional engineering teams to execute Robotic Engineered projects taking full responsibility for the safe, on-time and to-budget delivery of the project deliverables. Duties will also include:
? Ensure all HSE requirements and implications are managed effectively and efficiently
? Actively support Sales teams with Key Account Engineering representation
? Establish and motivate a multi-disciplinary project team
? Represent the business in all key project delivery meetings
? Management of budgets, resources, processes, contracts, business procedures, risk assessments across multiple projects
It is essential you are a proven, skilled Project Manager from an automotive background. Preferably you will have robotics experience however machinery safety can also be considered. The following are required:
? Formal qualification in an Electrical or Mechanical engineering discpline
? Demonstrable track record of Health, Safety and Environmental leadership, including through site management
? Demonstrable knowledge/experience of project management principles, including an ability to concurrently manage multiple projects
? Experience of working with robotic applications - this can be either coming from a robot manufacturer/supplier OR project incproating multi disciplined industrial processes
? Recognised Health, Safety and Environmental qualification, IOSH, NEBOSH or similar would be ideal as would a Project Management qualification
? Experience of working with MSProject
? Solid background of the Automotive sector
? Solid experience of robotics or machinery safety
? Solid financial acumen
? Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
This is an office based role, however, clients are based UK wide so you must be flexible to travel for client meetings and installation supervision. You will have the ability to take full financial responsibility for projects and develop your own schedules/project plans.
