Product Developer - Joinery

As Joinery Product Developer reporting to our Technical Design Manager as a member of our Product Team, you'll focus on the speedy development and delivery of all new trade quality commercial products across joinery and hardware. Identifying and developing new product opportunities, you'll work with suppliers and our Trade division to deliver additional category sales and margin. Working on a very diverse product range including doors, flooring, stair parts, door furniture, sealants and adhesives, your key accountabilities as Joinery Product Developer will include:
• positioning new product opportunities in the right way to ensure swift buy-in and sign-off
• maintaining multiple relationships
• managing multiple projects, sometimes with conflicting priorities.
• working closely with our Marketing team to deliver commercially attractive new products.
Preferably qualified to Degree level, you have a proven product development/design track record encompassing product management experience. An effective communicator and strategic thinker, able to identify the big opportunities, you're strong on teamwork and have sound commercial acumen whilst keeping up-to-date with developments within the industry. Good at building effective working relationships, you manage and plan your own workload in addition to:
• recognising problems within and outside your remit
• having excellent attention to detail
• making confident decisions.
