WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff is leading a multidisciplinary team to manage the construction contracts for Phase 1 of the Second Avenue Subway Project. We have an immediate opportunity for a Construction Manager - Transit Systems (Senior Supervising Construction Engineer) to join this team. The Construction Manager - Transit Systems will provide leadership to a multidiscipline staff of resident engineers, office engineers, field engineers, and project support staff. This person will provide technical expertise, interact directly with stakeholders, and ensure that administrative/documentation needs are met.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
      • Knowledge of track, signals, communication and traction power construction
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Proven leadership abilities
      • Demonstrated record of high performance in managing multi-million dollar transit construction contracts
      • Ability to manage a multidiscipline staff of resident engineers, office engineers, field engineers and project support staff
      • Experience with communications, signals, traction power, SCADA, CCTV, Fire alarms, etc.
      • Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
      • A minimum of 20 years of Construction experience
      • Proficiency with typical computer-based management and Microsoft Office Suite
A current P.E. license (NY) or the ability to attain via reciprocity is preferred. Local candidates are preferred.

The ability to work in the United States immediately is required.
