WSP| Parsons Brinckerhoff, an award-winning and innovative multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm, has
an opening for a Trainee for the position of a Bridge Inspection Assistant Team Leader - Trainee, joining the Transportation Department Bridge Inspection TEC. The selected candidate will be working shared time at our Briarcliff Manor, NY and Goshen, NY offices, with Goshen as the primary location. The goal of the Trainee Program is to provide an opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain experience to qualify for retention by a Consultant as a permanent employee.

Responsibilities include:
      • Review previous inspection reports and assist in the planning of field operations
      • Perform inspection work and compile reports
      • Receive directions from Project Manager and other senior staff
      • Technical compliance

Job Requirements
Requirements include:
      • AAS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
      • Physically capable of performing continuous field work including working at heights and in close quarters, climbing, carrying ladders and gear, working in adverse weather conditions, etc
      • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
      • Exhibit interest in performing the work contemplated, and be deemed capable of continuous employment over the duration of the program
      • Valid, unrestricted driver license
      • Be a minimum 18 years of age
      • Have no prior work experience and/or qualification in/for the job classification being trained for
