About the Role|
We're seeking a Technical Assurance Manager who is responsible for the management, maintenance and technical expertise of the entire IT infrastructure and someone with a strong background in leading and managing a team of Technical Experts.
You will be responsible for the management of Designers, Technical Specialists and Infrastructure Managers to meet the balance required between support, maintenance and project delivery.
A key part of the role is to manage the Essential Maintenance budget of up to £25 million; ensuring investment is made in activities that will maximize the benefit gained to us and ensure that the IT estate remains available and supportable.
Finally you will promote continuous improvement and propose new opportunities for us to enhance and improve our ways of working and ways of engaging with our stakeholders; including 3rd Party suppliers, Directors and Senior Managers.
You will have strong leadership skills and demonstrable experience leading large scale IT delivery teams; dealing with budgets of c£25million p.a.
You will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a consultative approach, but will also be able to challenge and influence at all levels.
You will have extensive experience of IT delivery. And you will have expertise in quality management supplier management, process improvement, line management and emerging technologies.
Finally, you will possess around 5 - 10 years in IT, ideally at a senior technical level with significant technical delivery/support exposure.
