Assistant Quantity Surveyor vacancy in Hertfordshire|
Our client, a joint venture incorporating construction, design, maintenance and operations capabilities, are looking for a Traffic Management Manager to join their busy team based in Leatherhead.
For this role you would be aware of the tendering process and of the various forms of contract used in the highways business across the industry. You would have knowledge and understanding of commercial management of construction projects and the construction process in general. You would have effective negotiation skills as you would liaise with both internal and external customers.
Within this role you would be providing assistance to the Commercial/quantity surveying team in relation to commercial & contractual control. You would ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with standard company QHSE procedures and work instructions. You would prepare cash flows for payments in and out. You would also assist with the following: valuation of variations, preparation of valuations and claims and with the preparation of interim applications for payment.
