A Project Manager is required to join the award winning building division of a multi-disciplinary construction company. My client complete design and build, new build and large refurbishment projects within education, healthcare, commercial and industrial sectors. They have a strong presence across the Midlands where they have a reputation for being competitive on projects ranging from £5m - £50m and being very client focussed.
Project Manager: Reason for the Vacancy:
As one of several regional business units the Birmingham region has seen gradual and sustained growth over recent years which have been a result of a number of negotiated contracts, framework agreements and repeat business from long standing clients. The company views the appointment of an additional Project Manager as an integral part of the development of this business unit as they continue to secure work into the next decade with past users and new clients.
Project Manager: The Role:
As a Project Manager you will be take ownership of a project from conception to completion ensuring that the project is constructed to the highest quality to programme and to budget. You will run a safe site as a Number 1 reporting to a visiting Contract Manager to the up most satisfaction of the client. As a Project Manager you will be directly responsible for promoting the image of the organisation which demonstrates their commitment to minimise the impact of the building processes.
Project Manager: The Person:
To be successful in your application as a Project Manager you must be able to demonstrate a solid career history and proven track record of delivering main build projects as a Number 1. You will be an excellent communicator and be from a trade or professional background. Experience in high rise residential or PRS would be desirable
