An exciting oppertunity has arisen within Speedy for a Regional Director to deliver sustained growth and profitability through service excellence, business efficiency and People.
* Deliver a high quality and consistent service in a cost effective way, via the optimal use of the company's assets (kit, property, vehicles, people) * Meet and exceed the expectations of customers through the delivery of service and product excellence according to the prescribed operating model. * Develop and grow new and existing customer relationships in order to understand existing and potential requirements. * Management of Site & Logistics Planner (transport planner) and Service Manager to ensure adherence to all Company procedures, systems and processes across own area. * Create a collaborative sharing of resources across the network when required to ensure optimal use and to meet both customer requirements and business efficiencies. * Develop the Company's people capability aligned to business goals, including the identification and development of Speedy's future leaders through talent management. * Ensure compliance with all regulations relating to Health and Safety and Environmental matters including completion of statutory training. * Manage and promote a safe, healthy and sustainable environment for employees, customers and the general public. * Ensure highest levels of quality and availability of products/services whilst maintaining optimum stock levels. * Ensure efficient use of vehicles and logistic systems including telematics. * Maintain professional Speedy brand reputation through the maintenance of property, kit, vehicles and people to high levels of presentation standards. * Develop all direct reports according to the development framework and ensure those direct reports have their teams equally trained and developed according to the Speedy Career Journey * Maximise the potential of retail sales and up sell/cross sell opportunities * Seek and pass any new or existing customer or market intelligence to the Sales team. * Be involved in and lead where appropriate any strategic projects relevant to role. * Completion of management reports and information in a timely manner * To ensure that your people adopt and maintain the Speedy differentiators: Customer, Quality & Innovation * To ensure that all assets are fully compliant with current Health & Safety regulations and maintained in line with service schedules * To ensure asset availability by optimizing utilization and reducing equipment waiting for repair or service * To ensure full adherence to loss and damage management * Maintain knowledge of the group's equipment for hire/sale and activities * Conduct additional ad hoc duties as may be requiredIdeal candidate
