Job Title: Assistant Site Manager (Top 5 National House Builder)|
Location: Greater Manchester
A Top 5 National House Builder, renowned for their award-winning homes and reputation for quality, are currently in the market for an assistant site manager
A subsidiary of a multi-award winning national main contractor, my client have expanded their portfolio and have established a highly credible reputation within the new build residential sector. My client has been commended for their efforts to build more energy efficient homes and deliver sustainable developments.
My client won a multitude of awards throughout 2015 including six NHBC Pride in the Job awards.
You will manage the build of a brand new traditional build development in Greater Manchester. The site is a brand new site and will need managing from start through to completion. In addition, you will have a solid team of good quality tradespeople on site.
You will be working alongside a highly experienced and knowledgeable site manager. My client awards their employee's for their hard-work and appreciate their workforce. This is also reflected in the generous salary and package on offer for the right candidate (Up to £35k + package for an experienced assistant site manager).
Other benefits Inc. yearly bonus, car (1 series BMW or A class Mercedes) or car allowance, pension (contributory), private health care and 28 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.
You will be an ambitious and driven assistant site manager and will take immense pride in the job. You will be able to manage the site effectively, offering effective problem solving solutions and able to find the perfect balance between delivering quantity and quality.

New build residential experience is essential for the role
Previous experience working for national house builders is preferable
Able to embrace training
Attention to detail
Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel
Ability to motivate and support staff
Strong communication skills
Qualifications and training - essential
Valid First Aid at Work certificate
Valid SMSTS certificate
Qualifications and training - desirable
Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate
NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
Trade experience and site experience preferable
Current full UK driving licence
