This is an outstanding opportunity for a Design Engineer to join this market leading business within Monaco. You will be designing state of the art sports equipment.|
Due to the nature of work carried out candidates must have working rights within Monaco.
The role will include working with a range of different licensees and also development of own company branded products.
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Support the development of new projects including 3D CAD design, mechanical engineering, technical drawings, tooling and fixture design, quality control and assurance procedure development and validation testing.
•Advanced proficiency in design.
•Build and management of 3D CAD models and assemblies using Creo or SolidWorks platforms.
•Particular emphasis on refined surface modelling techniques.
•Ability to work efficiently to modify and develop 3D CAD models using imported CAD data from third parties.
•Managing own projects from conception through to certification and launch, whilst meeting defined milestone schedule.
•Strong understanding of prototyping techniques, manufacturing techniques, processes and materials.
•Thorough and competent test result evaluation through analysis of data and samples in order to make correct development decisions and shorten development time and expense.
•Ability to sample and develop own ideas through prototyping in order to prove concepts and ideas.
•Ensuring projects exceed the deliverable outlined in design brief and meet both the schedule and budget. • Front end industrial design through sketching and/or digital creation.
•Communicating openly and efficiently with key stakeholders internally, with customers and external manufacturing partners.
•Be aware of customer and competitors' activity in all markets.
•Attending trade shows, customers and manufacturers for short periods, potentially including occasional weekends.
•Meeting and exceeding customer expectations and working to ensure that the business is perceived as one that delivers excellent customer service.
•Maintain good communication channels with stakeholders and employees.
•Miscellaneous tasks not associated with design engineering, which are to be expected in a small, dynamic company
