Plant Manager - Waste, West Sussex - up to £65K plus Benefits|
My client is the UK's leading waste treatment provider and they are currently looking to recruit a plant manager for their process facility in West Sussex.
Reporting to the general manager and overseeing a team of operations and maintenance personnel, you'll be fully responsible for the day to day, 24/7 operation of a multi-million pound waste treatment plant in accordance with strict health & safety and environmental legislation.
To be considered for this position, you'll need to be educated to a minimum HND level or equivalent in a suitable engineering subject such as manufacturing / production / mechanical engineering and have a proven track record of managing a large scale, process driven facility.
You'll need to have a full understanding of P&L and budgetary management, including CAPEX and OPEX coupled with sound knowledge of current health & safety legislation.
Candidates with waste management experience from a MRF / MBT / large scale AD plant would be beneficial although a good manufacturing / production background would be considered.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's leading waste management organisation as a plant manager offering a salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits including a performance related bonus and company car.
