An international group who are experts in the production of test & measurement equipment are looking to recruit an Internal Technical Sales person to join their increasing UK workforce. The role will see you complete a link between sales and technical support. Experience in internal technical sales in a must.|

The role is responsible for office based sales operations, administration and logistics for the company. This includes telephone sales (inbound, outbound) and account management, sales support and order processing for field based business development and technical sales, and warehouse/logistics management (stock forecasting, ordering, replenishing, stock management, order preparation for delivery/despatch).
Support the commercial team and develop new sales.
Once familiar with the product begin to be proactive on sales by implementing an agreed sales strategy with the commercial team.
Apply various sales skills to capitalise on commercial opportunities through negotiation of prices.
Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers.
Pro-actively seek new business by targeting a combination of existing customer base and prospective customers.
Effectively deal with telephone enquiries requesting quotations for products; compiling information on the desired products including prices from external suppliers.
Liaise between Production and customers to efficiently answer general enquiries concerning deliveries and production.
Achieve team and individual sales targets as set by the commercial team within the agreed time scale.
Ensure that the external sales team are kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts.
Provide management with sales reports on a weekly/monthly basis
Ensure that all customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion.
Manage and maintain the company's product inventory, forecasting and ordering
Ensure the stock department is well organised and controlled to sufficiently support accurate distribution and delivery
Ensure order updates are provided to key staff members and customers where appropriate
Implement control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies and customer issues are highlighted, addressed and resolved
Sales Orders are processed daily and ready for despatch and delivery
The successful candidate will be hard-working and enthusiastic individual with several years of working within a small company environment who will be responsible, reliable and work well within a small and friendly team.
Sound knowledge of the practical application of a sales department
Experience of building relationships with customers
Cross-discipline team working
Able to provide evidence of working in a target related environment
Strong customer service background
