This established refurbishment and restoration contractor seeks a Contracts Manager to be based from home and manage multiple timber and masonry projects on listed buildings across London.|
The Contracts Manager will oversee and control the management of restoration projects across London.
Projects are up to £3 million in value and include restoring sash timber windows and masonry on listed buildings. These are construction refurbishment and external façade restoration works. Work will also include managing services in roofing,stone and brick repairs,electrical trades ,scaffolding.
This is a demanding and busy role, working in the heritage,building and restoration market, churches,social housing,education,leisure,health,charitable trusts and local government clients.
You will be responsible for making sure projects are managed and completed on time and to program as well as health and safety and managers/sub-contract trades are all managed properly.
The successful applicant must have a proven track record in a similar role as a Contracts Manager managing multiple projects.
The role would suit an experienced Contracts Manager or Project Manager with experience of restoration projects on listed buildings or restoration projects working with Main Contractors or clients on masonry or timber refurbishment projects.
Qualifications required are CSCS,SMSTS or a relevant construction qualification
An established construction restoration business for over 22 years, they work in a niche market of timber and masonry restoration and are an established company providing exterior building renovation. They have over 70 fully trained employees and work on projects up to £3 million.
