Corporate Affairs Program Manager|
Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Corporate Affairs Program Manager. This is a contract role based in Reading until June 2017
The purpose of this role is to deliver long-term value to the business, our shareholders, and the communities in which we operate, through innovative and impactful corporate citizenship projects, programs and partnerships.
The main responsibility is the operational management of selected programs and projects within our portfolio of philanthropic and responsible business initiatives, to maximize the impact and value they deliver.
The Corporate Affairs Program Manager is a vital part of the team. The role includes frequent contact with all levels of employees, as well as externally with customer, partners, suppliers and stakeholders.

Efficient and effective project management that supports high performance from project teams and partners.
Accurate data capture and timely reporting of key metrics
Prompt and accurate servicing of employee requests and external enquiries
Critical analysis, identifying and driving improvements in program performance
Highly organized, ability to manage a broad portfolio of simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
Attention to detail, determination and resilience, motivated to finish and complete.
A passion for working with charities and NGOs and for business' wider societal contribution.
A personable manner, able to deal professionally with people at all levels internally and externally, and the ability to be clear, precise, diplomatic and compassionate.
Skills & Experience
Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility / Corporate Citizenship, preferably with experience of planning and delivering CSR, employee engagement or volunteering programmes.
Strong project management skills.
Experience of managing partnerships within a corporate or third sector organization.
Skills and experience in data management and analysis, confident in Excel and PowerPoint. Understanding and experience of social impact assessment would be a bonus.
Excellent customer service.
Strong communication skills (written & verbal). Experience of planning and delivering communications campaigns to engage internal and external audiences would be advantageous.
Knowledge and understanding of wider political and policy issues is an advantage.

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum
