We are looking for a systems focussed Business Analyst (not software) to assist the Project Management team to scope requirements, as well as document and plan projects across the business. You ll be working closely with the Project Managers to document the requirements using visual representations and workflow diagrams where required. My client has an extensive list of high profile clients across a variety of business sectors so role requirements may differ from one project to another.
We require a dynamic and professional Business Analyst who brings exceptional communication skills and applied knowledge of project practices. This role is responsible for requirement analysis, certification; producing functional specifications, reviewing deliverables, facilitating the team to provide excellent analytical advice. We are looking for someone with commercial exposure who can focus on innovation & efficiency.
We ideally require someone with Business Analysis background in the commercial retail sector.
Specific duties are:
Analysing and documenting business processes & workflows, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Creating excellent requirements documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria and examples)
Collecting, evaluating, documenting and communicating functional and non-functional business requirements.
Assisting with meeting the communication and reporting needs of projects
Scoping and planning projects that allow the development of the business objectives.
Experience in a BA role within a consultancy environment.
Experience of working project lifecycles.
Understanding and experience of business analysis skills, techniques, and practices with an eye for detail.
Experience of working with stakeholders.
Using software tools to support the development of projects.
Flexibility to travel UK wide.
Ability to build relationships
Good general IT skills
Prince2 certification or similar.
Technical development background or comfortable within a software development environment.
