Raytheon UK is looking for a dynamic and high performing Delivery Manager to work within Raytheon's Intelligence & Security Business in our newest offices in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of an Agile Programme of three scrum teams This is a complex and challenging role that will be highly rewarding and high profile, with extensive communication and interfacing requirements with the company Leadership Team, stakeholders and partners. It will demand excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of energy and stamina. The work location will primarily be based in North West of England with frequent visits to our Gloucester site, London and to other customer sites in the UK.
The successful candidate will be required to:
•Manage the delivery of software through three Agile scrum teams
•Establish and maintain a governance structure to ensure coordination of work requests
•Develop strong relationships and ensure the goals/ objectives are clearly communicated, understood and executed by Raytheon and Sub-contractor staff.
•Oversee and deliver enhancements to complex software/application development activities.
•Interpret customer technical requirements and convert them into deliverable solutions
•Strong Leadership and influencing skills with a desire to succeed
•Proactive team builder who can motivate and lead by example
•Strong interpersonal skills, team motivator, able to build strong relationships with customers and peers. Able to drive multidiscipline teams
•Innovative & creative problem solver. Able to develop and deliver effective presentations.
•Able to facilitate problem solving of complex issues across business units and organisational boundaries
•Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal at all levels within the organisation and with the customer
•Excellent negotiation skills
•Ability to identify and understand technical issues, to summarize key concerns and follow through with development of an action plan to correct or satisfy problem areas.

Education and Experience
•Background in Programme Management and Information Technology
•Experience in delivering projects using Agile methodologies
A successful track record in executing complex programmes
•Capable of managing and motivating a diverse and geographically dispersed team in the delivery of innovative solutions
•A demonstrated capability of managing programme controls; that effectively maintain the integrity of the Integrated contractual, technical, schedule, cost and risk baselines.
•Capable of achieving Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance
•Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Business Management, plus established and demonstrable progressive experience in programme/project management, using business performance management and reporting methodologies.
•Experience working in Government agencies
•Member of a relevant Construction, Engineering or Programme Management Professional Institution.
