KEY INDUSTRY PLAYER REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL HGV TECHNICIAN / LGV TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC / FITTER
Role: HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / LGV Technician

Previous experience: HGV Technician, HGV Fitter or LGV Technician / Mechanic working on Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles ideally with attached equipment such as HIABs, Skips, Tippers, Grabs, RoRo's, Hook Loaders, Compactors etc.
You may have worked on commercial vehicles in: Plant Hire, Waste Management, Aggregates, Quarry, Recycling, Building Supplies, Tankers / ADR, Dairy, Cement, petroleum, Chemical, Skips, Cranes, Haulage, Transport, Scrap Metal, Military, Forestry, Road Surfacing, Highways Maintenance.
ROLE - HGV Mechanic/ LGV Vehicle Mechanic / HGV Technician
You and your team will ensure that the fleet is inspected, repaired and MOT'd to meet VOSA standards.
You will work in a team of HGV Fitters / Vehicle Technicians / LGV Engineers / Mechanics
You will work within all health and safety systems
EXPERIENCE - HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Fitter / Mechanic
You must have your own tools
You will ideally have experience of team management, budget management or cost control and have a City and Guilds in HGV Maintenance Engineering (or Motor Vehicle Technician with several year of HGV experience)
COSHH, LOLER and PUWER experience a plus
Ideally you will have a Class 2 HGV / LGV Licence and CPC
You MUST be committed to working within a positive Health and Safety ethic within the team of HGV Mechanics, Fitters, and LGV Technicians. You may also have experience working with COSHH, LOLER and PUWER.
Previous experience: Workshop Manager, HGV Fitter, Mechanic, or HGV Technician / LGV Technician that has worked on Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles ideally with attached equipment such as Tippers, Grabs, RoRo's, Hook Loaders, Compactors etc
