My client is an extremely well established brand and part of a larger successful group of companies.
Following continued growth, we are now seeking to appoint an experienced Plant Fitter for this prestigious company.
Applicants must be skilled in the service and maintenance of heavy plant / agricultural machinery and equipment and should be comfortable carrying-out both mechanical and electrical repairs (AC/DC) on diesel engines, control systems, and auxiliary hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Qualifications are not essential, however candidates must be competent when fault-finding and undertaking electrical repairs to component level.
Experience of working as an Engineer, Fitter, Technician or Mechanic, within a plant hire, plant or agricultural OEM, agricultural dealership, or similar business would be ideal, but a HGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic would also be considered.

This role offers engineers the opportunity to join a large and established business with the potential for professional development and career progression.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role as is a strong work ethic and commitment to exceeding customers' expectations.
This is a permanent vacancy and the salary offered (£10-£14 per hour) is dependent on experience. Due to the nature of the work there will be a regular need to work overtime and as a result, first year earnings are likely to reach £30,000-£35,000
