Due to their ongoing success, this consultancy is looking for a talented Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join a team of dynamic, motivated and experienced professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused Principal Electrical Engineer to join the well-established London team, and play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in both the UK and worldwide.
Working across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare and Science/Technology; you will develop and nurture client relationships and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers. You will lead a design team and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to ensure that designs are coordinated and delivered on time and in budget.
The ideal candidate will have Chartered status and will be degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering. The successfully Principal Electrical Design Engineer will use extensive experience, alongside a comprehensive understanding of construction/sustainability legislation and best practice to effectively deliver projects and lead design teams.
You will have a proven ability to plan and programme work as well as an understanding of the financial / commercial aspects of construction projects. The successful applicant will utilise good planning and organisation, alongside high motivation and excellent communication skills to allow them to work under pressure, balance engineering priorities and meet strict deadlines.
