WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff is seeking a senior project manager to lead a variety of rail and transit engineering projects and tasks. The candidate will become a member of PB's growing rail and transit group based in Chicago, and will work throughout the Midwest/Central including Texas. This is an opportunity to lead a variety of railroad and transit projects and tasks, including feasibility studies, preliminary and final engineering, program management, and construction oversight. A key area of responsibility will be coordination and design involving intercity and high speed rail initiatives requiring knowledge of rail design, highway/rail grade crossings, etc.
The candidate must be capable of applying diversified knowledge of standard engineering/planning and rail/transit industry-specific principles and practices. Candidate must have experience with intercity, commuter, and/or freight railroads, and be capable of making decisions on significant engineering problems and issues.
