Job Summary
AECOM are currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor, based in Bahrain, to carry out quantity surveying and commercial activities to meet project objectives. This will include providing advice, guidance and support to the Project team along with responsibility for;
  • measuring quantities in order to prepare tender/contract documents/measurement of variations/costing of variations,
  • managing costs for new projects,
  • undertaking cost analysis for maintenance and refurbishment work,
  • performing risk and value management and cost control,
  • advising on procurement strategy and preparing tender and contract documents,
  • measuring quantities from drawings, sketches and specifications prepared by designers, principal architects and engineers, in order to prepare tender/contract documents,
  • controlling construction costs by accurate measurement of the work required,
  • application of expert knowledge of costs and prices of work, labour, materials,
  • ensuring there is minimum risk and maximum value to the project,
  • undertaking costs/benefit analysis, planning management, cost planning for projects
