Job Summary
Role Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications, SEA works closely with the Regional Executive and the APAC Marketing & Communications Head to define and execute a marketing program which delivers SEA's Strategic Plan and initiatives, and contributes to the delivery of AECOM's strategic priorities in Asia Pacific (APAC).

The role is responsible for driving development and implementation of client marketing campaigns, and facilitating key clients service planning and management in SEA, coordinating the same across Asia, and acting as the geographical leader of the MarComms team located in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Optimization of MarComms initiatives - such as committed events and sponsorships - to increase penetration with key contacts of key clients
  • Developing and overseeing implementation of client service assessment and improvement initiatives
  • Processes to enhance bid quality and conversion strategy
  • eading the SEA MarComms team to implement global and APAC initiatives effectively in SEA markets
  • Providing leadership to the SEA Marketing and Communications team to ensure a consistent and high standard of service is being delivered by regional teams across the SEA region and is consistent with the standard of the APAC region.
The role reports to the Asia Pacific Head of Marketing & Communications.

Detailed responsibilities:
Client Service Development
  • Leveraging marketing programs to support relationship and BD with key accounts
  • Implementing initiatives to strengthen the client service culture across the businesses, including the client service assessment as appropriate to marketplaces
  • Analysis and action planning around AECOM's Net Promoter Score (NPS), support of the CAM program to establish a best practice approach to client account management and works with End Market Executives and Enterprise ECAM Leaders to implement an effective client account management program within the SEA region, and working with APAC MarComms and HR on the creation and rollout of training programs to develop sales and service skills for technical staff
Bid Supporting
  • Developing and maintaining key client and top pursuits list, and leading strategic deployment of Salesforce to ensure a strong pipeline
  • Coordinating the strategizing and development of key, multi-business line pursuits
  • Managing the performance of SEA bid co-ordinators across the business lines.
  • Managing the development and maintenance of an easily accessible online set of marketing and bidding set of material, tools and processes

Marketing planning
  • Workings in conjunction with SEA regional and business line leadership to establish and implement marketing priorities and programs throughout SEA and developing consistent go to market strategic business development plans
  • Responsible for managing and developing the SEA MarComms team members in accordance with APAC MarComms direction as well as AECOM core values and performance management competencies.

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in a relevant role preferably in a technical, professional or financial services related organization
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent
  • Solid experience working in a multinational organization
  • Significant Southeast Asia market experience, with a minimum of experience in Singapore or Malaysia - ideally both
  • Demonstrated ability to champion and drive ideas/programs that result in cultural change
  • Experience in facilitating or administering the sales process and buying cycle in complex, high-value sales
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams, including indirectly

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent
