About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Writer III Reset Coordinator for the Regional Aviation Sustainment Management-Central (RASM-C) located at Fort Campbell Ky. The Reset Coordinator, responsible for the execution of the Aviation Reset Program, including the on-time induction of aircraft into the program and the on-time delivery of the highest quality aircraft to the U.S. Army customer. The level and scope of work includes Aviation Reset, limited Depot Level Repair (DLR), installation of Modification Work Orders (MWO), all supporting the U.S. Army's Combat Aviation Brigades and various other Department of the Army customers. Serves as the liaison between project management, aircraft owners, Government oversight, and the supervisory management teams responsible for the conduct of Reset maintenance. Participate in the development and sustainment of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for all supported aircraft platforms. Monitor and provide in depth technical guidance during all phases of Reset operations - coordinate the resolution of logistics, maintenance and personnel issues in order to maximize production. Assess project issues and develop resolutions in order to meet customer goals and objectives; primarily Quality, Schedule and Cost. Provide Daily Aircraft Status Reports to customer units. Develop and maintain mechanisms to monitor project progress in order to aid in problem solving with project managers, line managers, Government oversight and customers. Brief Government oversight and customer weekly on Reset maintenance status and issues. Submit and track Production Information Reports (PIRs) on Reset aircraft. Review, submit and track Estimated Cost of Damage (ECOD) for Depot level repairs. Input weekly reports into WebDesk. Submit accurate and timely invoice for all Reset aircraft completed to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and the Aviation Field Maintenance Directorate (AFMD). Monitor and report the status of each Reset aircraft in CAMP ALMD and WebDesk. Essentially track each Reset effort from cradle to grave. Serve as the focal point to address Reset concerns within the program, from AMCOM, the COR, and from the owning unit. Provides accurate and timely information to owning units on aircraft status and schedule adjustments. Cordinate final aircraft scheduling and induction with the owning unit and AMCOM to ensure program quantities and customer schedule are met. Constantly communicate with the owning unit throughout the Reset process to ensure unit concerns are identified and properly resolved. Coordinate with the owning unit for out of scope work, identification and delivery of TBO items. Delivery of Transfer files, Weight & Balance files, historical records and monitor and ensure adequate resources are provided to support the Reset requirements. Address Class IX parts concerns, CIL items, Controlled exchange issues, Deconflict MWO during Reset concerns, and address internal work order concerns as necessary.
