As the new Trainee Drafter (Technical Assistant) you will work as part of a team to assist with delivery of civil engineering design projects. This is the perfect opportunity for a school leaver who is keen to kick start their career in Engineering/Civil Construction.
As the Trainee Drafter, you will:
• Work with lead designer to assist with aligning design standards and processes with the rest of the transport business line;
• Produce civil designs and associated engineering drawings;
• Liaise with designers and project team engineers to ensure timely delivery of project outputs;
• Provide support to the entire team through various ad-hoc duties
We will support your career by investing in your learning and development as you undergo a Diploma of Civil Construction Design. We will provide you with a paid day off a week for you to attend class and also take care of the cost of undergoing studies.
