Program, Cost, Consultancy
We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public- and private-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Job Summary
This is a great opportunity to join AECOM in our award winning Auckland PQS team. This role will suit someone who is keen to work on larger and high profile projects across the Auckland region while continuing to build their career, benefiting from an instantly known consulting firm operating in over 150 countries.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Cost planning and estimating during design and documentation phases.
  • Measurement of schedules of quantities.
  • Construction phase cost management including assessing contractor's monthly progress claims and financial reporting.
  • Cash flow forecasting; Budgeting and financial planning.
  • Assessing Builder's variations and claims.
  • Preparation of tax depreciation schedules.
  • Preparation of building insurance replacement valuations.
  • Reporting both formally and informally.
  • Contribution to research and business development initiatives.
  • Assistance with business development.

Minimum Requirements
We are seeking a PQS with a solid background in consulting who shares our passion for delivering high quality consulting services to clients.

Holding a recognised degree in Quantity Surveying which is eligible with RICS, you will be a natural team player with proven experience in:
  • Experience of cost planning, schedule of quantity preparation and contract administration in the buildings / property sector gained in Consultancy.
  • Highly driven and client focused
  • Proficient with computer based quantity surveying and cost management software.

Preferred Qualifications
Your highly developed communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills will put you in an ideal position for this role.
