About Role Reporting to the Modelling and Investment Planning Manager, you will be part of the management team responsible for delivering the feasibility solutions to all sewerage projects across Severn Trent. For the next 3 years this will primarily involve the delivery of around 5,000 network monitors, which will form the backbone for waste smart networks.
You will organise, lead, motivate and develop a team of Engineers and Consultants to ensure effective project delivery. The position will require the development of Operational Decision Management (ODM) rules for managing the signals coming back from monitor sites. This will require working closely with Network Control and the Smart Networks Working Group to ensure a smooth transition.
About You To be successful in this position you will have the ability to drive delivery of a large installation programme across multiple sites, to agreed timeframes and budget. Your experience within the water industry of problem solving, option evaluation and the preparation of feasibility studies will enable you to deliver projects effectively.
Excellent communication skills and report writing skills are essential to be able to interpret data and build long lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Previous experience of successful team management would be beneficial, as well as knowledge of the regulatory regime and accounting practices relevant to capital programmes.
