This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Structural Engineer to join our clients global extremely successful and versatile Structural Engineering team that forms a part of their Engineering division. You will be based in their London office with the unique opportunity to become a part of a growing team that are responsible for generating their own work and also undertake work generated by other parts of the Engineering and wider business.|
You will be expected to report directly to and to assist and support the Director in charge of the Engineering department in London. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Chartered Engineer capable of managing projects through delivery to financial close and to assist with growing the engineering team in the London office. Experience in business development with good client contacts in the South East region would be an advantage.
You will be given responsibility for the technical and commercial management of your own projects as well as acting as part of a team working on elements of major commissions that the company has procured. It is one of our key values to provide excellence in everything we do, so you will be mentored and trained towards this aim. Part of this role will be contributing to the development of BIM in your day to day duties.
As a Chartered Engineer you will bring to this role an enthusiastic and professional approach to solving Structural Engineering problems and preparing Structural reports. You will have demonstrated experience and an understanding of design involving most key elements of structures and preferably to Eurocode Standards. Your technical knowledge should include the use of technical design software and it would be useful to be able to review/ amend using AutoCad or Revit software. In order to develop in this role, it important that you are able to deal with external organisations by communicating in a manner that commands mutual trust and respect.
