Salary: £25,541 - £29,354 (pro rata)
Hours: 35 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Surveyor to join the Asset Management's Central Team on a fixed term contract until April 2017.
In this position you will contribute to the asset management service for a defined area of activity in emh Homes, ensuring that it is efficient and that excellent standards of customer service are delivered.
You will deliver a diverse workload including a combination of capital repairs, capital improvements, planned maintenance, reactive repairs, adaptations, safety programmes and stock surveys. You will contributing to emh homes Asset Management Strategy, identifying best practice. The role will also involve carrying out property inspections including quality assurance, stock condition and other surveys. You will take ownership of specific project or contract budgets and ensuring tight control over those budgets. You will contribute to Health and Safety activity to ensure 100% compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will hold HNC in Building Studies, and have three years' experience in surveying & managing social housing improvement works through to completion. You will have experience of working in a tenant facing social housing environment coupled with knowledge of surveying and compiling commercially competitive quotations, and experience of carrying quality assurance (QA) inspections on varying trades.
