McGinley Support Services operate as an employment business and currently seek to recruit an experienced Bid Co-ordinator/Writer l for a Permanent contract in Belfast

As a Bid Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in the preparation of prequalification applications and tender submissions and you will contribute to submission documents in line with the requirements of each tender and in keeping with the Farrans' brand. You will be enthusiastic, passionate and ambitious and able to quickly encapsulate our company culture in the submission documents that you prepare.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience including in a bid team environment and will be able to demonstrate contribution to projects and bids ranging in construction value from £5m to £50m.

Reporting to: Bid Manager/Pre-Contract Manager

Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Bid Manager for all bids and tender submissions
Working with the Bid Manager to agree bid milestones and submission dates for work packages relevant to the response.
Organising the review of submissions against Client's requirements
Timely preparation of bid responses for all submissions
Web uploads of bid responses and control
Technical and Non-Technical writing, completion of mandatory information.
Providing internal feedback to the Bid Manager, working together to ensure a submission of the highest standard is achieved
Gather technical data needed in support of the bid submission from internal departments and operational teams.
Integrate answers received from the Bid Manager into the response documents.
Attend internal project briefings, tender meetings as required
Hard copy responsibility including document production (out sourcing if required)
Brand document and re-format where allowed

Design of submission files, covers and dividers
Sharing best practice with the team
Review successful and unsuccessful submissions, feedback and lessons learnt to promote continuous improvement

Personal Profile
Team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines in high pressure situations
Organisational and project management skills
A strong command of spoken and written English
IT competence in packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point
