A great opportunity for a skilled CNC Mill/Turn Machinist to work for large, well structured business who have sustained year on year growth becoming a leading supplier to the aerospace industry. We now require a competent Mill/Turn machinist to operate one of our Nakamura mill turn machines. This is a fast paced busy working environment, working with the latest technology and equipment available in precision and aerospace engineering. The Mill/Turn machinist will be working in a modern, professionally run environment within first class facilities. |
Shift: Monday-Thurs: 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 Fri: 06:00-13:00/13:00-20:00
Pay: £12.22-£14.22 per hour = £25,000-£29,000 basic per annum + Overtime readily available
Night Shift potential at : Monday-Friday 22:00-06:00 = £13.71-£15.87 = £28,000-£32,000 basic per annum
Overtime rates: Mon-Sat time ½ and Sundays Double time
Background required: Must have previous Mill/Turn Machining experience within a precision engineering environment.
The ideal Mill/Turn Machinist will possess as many of the following as possible in order to strengthen the application:
- Time Served Apprenticeship
- Competent to run multiple machines - Highly beneficial if the candidate can operate a number of machines in this machine shop precision engineering environment.
- Competent to set and operate
- Basic online editing skills
- Manual machining skills highly beneficial
- The desire to progress and use other CNC operated machinery
