Plant Manager - Energy from Waste|
£50,000 - £60,000 plus benefits
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Plant Manager / Site Manager / General Manager / Operations Manager, to manage and oversee the day-to-day running of a new Gasification / Biomass Power Station based in Plymouth. Our client is responsible for safe & efficient Operations & Maintenance of the Plant, with the requirement for an experienced Plant Manager to join their team.
As the Plant Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Director and be responsible for:
* Managing the safe & efficient running of the plant
* Leading the Operations & Maintenance teams
* P&L / Budgets responsibility
* Staff training and recruitment duties
* Project management (site upgrades, commissioning, etc.)
* Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you must have experience working in a similar Plant Manager / General Manager / Operations Manager role within a similar industry (Power Generation, Energy from Waste, Gasification, Biomass, CHPs, etc. preferred). You should have a relevant Engineering background & qualifications (Operations / Maintenance) and a strong understanding of P&L / budgeting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with an exciting new Energy from Waste Biomass Power Station project, developing a strong team of Engineers and Technicians to support the plant.
The package on offer for this role includes an attractive salary in the range of £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience), plus great company benefits.
